It's been nearly 3 years since I worked on the making of a feature film, Whisper or as some know it as Hellion. It filmed in Vancouver for 6 weeks. I just received an email today saying that it will air on Saturday, September 1st on TNT. This is a movie with a definite all star cast. The lead is the handsome, rugged man, Josh Holloway (Lost-series), the lovely Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break-series), the young boy Blake Woodruff (Cheaper By The Dozen), and Dule Hill (Psych-series) and Joel Edgerton. It's definitely a scary, horror movie so if you are anything like me then you might have to watch it with the sound turned off.

Missing Eyelashes, Thinning Eyelashes or Losing Eyelashes
It seems as we get older, are hair begins to thin out and so does our eyelashes. Missing eyelashes, thinning eyelashes or losing eyelashes can make you look tired and old. Sometimes adding a few fake individual eyelashes to the corners of your eyes can give you an appearance of young, alert, bright eyes. If you seem to be losing eyelashes or pulling eyelashes, you can use eyelash glue and a few fake eye lashes to correct this problem. I have been working on the television series called, Supernatural. Our lovely guest star Lauren Cohen has been filming in Vancouver on the Supernatural episode of , "Bad Day at Black Rock". Lauren Cohen has young, beautiful eyes, but unfortunately we have been filming at night, so to keep Lauren looking bright eyed and alert, her makeup artist Shannon Coppin has added a few individual flared eyelashes to the corners of Lauren's eyes. What a difference it makes! Some of you like dyeing eyelashes. But this won't make them look longer or thicker. Long eyelashes gives you a younger look. And thick eyelashes gives you a brighter look. Microdermabration - Can you Really Do It Yourself

I got to work on the movie set of "Tortured" a few minutes early to try out a new Microdermabration system that you can perform on yourself in just minutes. A half an hour in the hair and makeup trailer was all I needed to prepare and use the Crystalift Microdermabration System. The Crystalift is an easy, do it yourself, exfoilating/resurfacing system for your skin. I began by cleansing my face with an oil-free cleanser and drying my face completely. Then I started with my chin, working the wand slowly across the skin. You feel a slight scratching and sucking feeling which didn't hurt or irritate the skin. I did my entire face in less than 10 minutes, until the capsule of crystals ran out. I had turned the dial to the highest position for the full effect. If I compared Crystalift to a Microdermabration Treatment from the spa, I would say it was not as effective or as deep of a pore cleanser, but definitely noticed my skin looked fresher, smoother and my makeup base went on evenly. So then I asked the actor Cole Hauser, if he would try out the mini facial. I got him to relax in the makeup chair while I gave him a treatment with the Crystalift (meduim setting). When I finished , he was so relaxed he wanted me to do it again. Cole's face looked brighter and fresher. Cole will definitely have another treatment next week.

Tricks of the Trade – male baldness and thinning
Working on the movie “Tortured” has quite a few male characters. The Actor, Jon Cryer (2 and ½ men) has medium brown hair that is extremely fine and thin all over. First, I use a cream makeup base (Couve) designed for masking out Alopecia (balding). Couve comes in a full range of colors from blonde to redhead to black. Couve is applied with a sponge, directly on the scalp all over the head. Then the MAC eye shadow powered in medium brown (brun) is applied with a thick makeup brush, on top of the Couve makeup. And finally, a sprinkle of Toppik in Medium Brown. Toppik (hair building filler) has little hair–like fibers that look like real hair. Then I comb the hair lightly into place, not to disturb any of the fibers underneath. A light spray all over the hair of Redken Super Strength Finishing Spray #23, will set the fibers into place and will hold all day (12 hours) on a movie set.

Lawrence Fishburne and Cole Hauser - Lead Roles in Feature film

Started working today on a new movie. This feature film , title " Tortured", stars Lawrence Fishburne ( Matrix, Mystic River, Mission Impossible III) and Cole Hauser ( Good Will Hunting, 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Break-Up ), and Emmanuella Chriqui ( Entourage - series, O.C. - series), and Jon Cryer ( 2 and a half men ), and James Denton (Desperate Housewives), and James Cromwell (Babe, The Green Mile). We started filming in Vancouver, Canada this week and will continue shooting for the next 5 weeks. Lawrence Fishburne plays a mob accountant and Cole Hauser as an undercover FBI Agent, in a psychological thriller. We have locations in Coquitlam. Langley, and Vancouver Hotel. "Tortured", is written and directed by Nolan Lebovitz. This film is produced by Five Star Pictures, Insight Films, and Proud Mary Entertainment.
